Tokio Hotel’s new DVD “Tokio Hotel TV: Caught on Camera” entered directly at third for DVD sales in France after only 3 days of being released!! They follow (very) closely behind the DVDs of Johnny Halliday (2) and Michel Sardou (1)

Update next Tuesday to see if the band will be first in sales just 7 dates after release…

AGAINST WINDS AND TIDES
Although many fans from the beginning seem to turn their back on them, Tokio Hotel keep on going on and building what seems to be a future career from now on. It's official: the third album of the band will be released at the end of the year, if everything goes as planned. A rather surprising piece of news if you consider that Bill & Co. had declared their wish to take time to release the successor to "Zimmer 483". But obviously TH is so inspired that it decided to come back to the studio earlier than expected to record this new album. "Bill's mind is filled with ideas for this album", revealed David Jost, the manager of the band. "Every day he has a new idea for the songs and he writes nonstop. His recent stay in the hospital for his problem to the vocal chords as well as the great tour of the band in Europe and in the USA inspired him a lot. Some of the most recent lyrics he wrote are about nostalgia or homesickness. This album will be - I'm sure about that - the most personal. The boys also want it to be perfect from end to end. Every title should have the potential of a hit raised to the power..." Even if Bill didn't want to reveal any hint about the sound of this third album, his brother Tom proved to be a little more talkative. "With this new album, we want to surprise the audience. Ideally, I'd like to include songs which will make our fans say: "What's this? Is this really Tokio Hotel?" But as they listen to these songs, they'll understand that this is indeed us, that our sound evolved, that he's got rich of new influences. For now these are only my ideas, but the other three should agree with me [laughs]" Neverthless, the German quartet agreed on releasing the album in two versions, one in German and one in English. In this way, no one will be jealous.
